About the Opportunity:

AlumaDoor is seeking an experienced accountant for the role of Accounting Manager. As Accounting Manager, your mission is to streamline our financial reporting processes. You will produce financial-status reports to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. You will supervise two other professionals: a Bookkeeper and a Purchasing/Inventory Assistant. This opportunity will enable an experienced professional to grow in their career and to be a part of a thriving, multi-state, multinational company.

Initiatives You Will Champion:

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to management by evaluating, analyzing and reporting appropriate key performance indicators
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue as well as for costs and capital expenditures
• In conjunction with the President, establish financial and operating benchmarks
• Develop, maintain and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and efficient workflow

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting
• Working knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulatory standards preferred
• 3-5+ years accounting experience required
• Prior supervisory experience a plus
• Proven experience, including streamlining accounting processes

• Ability to work with external CPA firm to compile financial and tax statements

• Solid organizational skills, including ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
• Prior ERP system experience, a plus
• Manufacturing experience, helpful
