Your Impact

This role provides support to the Finance Managers by assisting in accurate, timely and reliable financial information for operational decision support, enabling the site to develop and deliver their short- and long-term ambitions. the financial planning, forecasting and reporting for Business Management Process for a Business Division.

You will provide strong business partnering to the business teams to increase their business/financial acumen & drive value through providing timely, insightful and strategic support, whilst consistently delivering improvements in ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in business partnering to their business teams, providing financial counsel and value adding insights
• Assist in proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, including month end reporting (ME), mid-month forecasting (IBP), quarterly forecasting and reduction in the duration of the budgeting process
• Understand all key issues associated with Budget, Forecasting and Month End reporting for the business teams and work with the Finance Manager to ensure corrective action is taken where relevant
• Work with the Finance Manager to develop financial processes aimed at improving the financial & operational control of business activities
• Deliver required budgets, forecasts and month end reporting per required deadlines
• Perform Month end transactions and reporting
• Ensure constant communication with the supply chain team on results, as well as recommendations to assist in achieving targets

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) or near completion
• Solid understanding of SAP systems
• 5+ years’ experience
• Experience in an FMCG environment preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in relevant Finance Processes and Systems
• Strong communication and influencing skills
