What you’ll be doing

• As a software developer at Totem, you will join a rapidly expanding product engineering team working to build, grow, and constantly improve Totem’s products
• Design, develop and deliver high-quality code and automated tests to put into production within a short development cycle in continuous integration and delivery environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to devise optimal engineering solutions.
• Drive best practices in growing a sustainable tech-business

What we are looking for:

• An experienced product-focused software engineer
• Experience building high-performance web applications
• Proven skills covering parts of the core javascript stack (either front-end/back-end or both!)
• Minimum of 3+ years writing React.js/Node.js
• Solid knowledge in computer science fundamentals: algorithm, data structure, object-oriented programming
• An analytical problem solver able to quickly assess and resolve issues
• Experience deploying Rest or GraphQL services into production
• Passion for developing high quality and robust code that scales and performs well
• Highly motivated, goal-driven, can-do approach
• Innovative, entrepreneurial, team player, ability to multi-task.

Experience that would make you stand out:

• Experience with cloud computing services like AWS and container technologies like Docker
• Experience with Redis/BullMQ (or any other message broker)
