We are looking to add a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to the Damon team – if you are ready to push beyond the limits & do your best work – we want to hear from YOU!

Position Description:
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems on Damon’s motorcycles. Whenever needed, senior engineers will offer support and provide guidance for learning opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, prototype, implement, test and document embedded software systems.

Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in innovative ways.

Estimate timelines and provide risk assessments for planning and tracking work.

Provide feedback for continuous improvement of processes.

Position Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Experience developing software for linux and/or RTOS and/or bare-metal microcontroller systems.

Proficiency in C or C++.

Excellent communication skills.

Positive attitude and excellent problem solving skills.

Travel maybe required from time to time.

Nice To Haves

Experience in embedded software development and system design in C or C++.

Experience with hardware/software integration (example: Arduino projects).

Experience with hardware lab tools (oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, etc).

Experience with automotive development.

Experience in multi-threaded software.

Experience in version control tools like Git, SVN.

Proficiency with MATLAB.

Motorcycle riding experience.
