19 Beaumont Street is looking to appoint a positive, reliable and flexible individual to join our practice at 19 Beaumont Street Surgery as a Reception Manager with some HR duties. This role will provide comprehensive support to the Reception Team and as well as other members of the practice.
The successful applicant will have had previous experience in a managerial role and have excellent administration skills with knowledge of administrative procedures. The candidate must be a clear and confident communicator, competent in managing conflicting priorities, using their initiative, problem-solving and have the ability to manage a fluctuating workload with minimal supervision.
Main Duties
The new postholder will also be responsible for working with the Practice Manager performing some HR duties and working alongside the Patient Services Manager, managing a reception team of approximately 10 receptionists for all staffing issues. . You will manage confidential and sensitive information, exercising discretion and uphold high professional standards at all times.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care to our 16,000 patients. 14 GPs, a nursing team of five (including two nurse prescribers), a Clinical Pharmacist, a Physicians Associate and two Healthcare Assistants. We are a teaching and training Practice with a strong educational ethos and reputation of providing high quality care to our diverse patient population. We are an active member of the Healthier Oxford PCN, which is made up of 3 other local surgeries. Our growing PCN shares the use of two social prescribers, a health coach and a clinical pharmacist.
