A leading, internationally renowned company is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their reputable team. Managing a varied range of responsibilities, the Assistant Accountant will put their vast knowledge and experience to use as they help to prepare monthly management and intercompany accounts etc.


You will require a Business or Finance degree and ideally combine this previous experience in Accounts Payable or Management Accounting. In addition to this, successful applicants will also need to demonstrate first class communication skills along with expert knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation of Management accounts, performance indicators and commentary
• Updating and reconciling bank balances for interest calculation charged and gained
• Assisting with daily cash management
• Reconciling accounts
• Accounts Payable Invoice coding, processing and payment
• Staff expense checking, processing and payment
• Client Payments (on a rota basis)
• Top 20 reporting for client margin and turnover
• Updating terminated and new business spreadsheets
• New Business and sales incentive reconciliation
• Reconciliation of various monthly accounts
• Monthly stats spreadsheets
• Maintenance of fixed asset register

Salary: £26,000 plus study support
