We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Receptionist for Westerleigh PARC. This is our flagship property in West Vancouver, where you can practice your well-honed skills, meet enticing challenges that help move PARC and your career ahead and you’ll develop meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.
About the Receptionist Job
As Receptionist, you are the heart and soul of the residence. You’re a leader in creating an inviting and welcoming environment for residents, team and visitors.
You’re a trained medical first responder who plays a huge role in keeping the building and our residents safe. You respond to resident medical emergencies when they arise.
You answer the phone, greet and screen visitors and assist residents with their needs professionally and efficiently.
You live and breathe customer service, and your goal from every resident and guest interaction is for them to walk away thinking “wow!”
About You
You’re fantastic with people and you communicate tactfully and professionally at all times.
You’re a natural problem-solver, organizer and decision-maker. You work well in a fast-paced environment.
You have at least 1 year experience in a fast paced, customer facing, multi-faceted environment. Experience Hotel Front Office or Seniors Living environments is strongly recommended.
You have flawless phone manners and computer skills. You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher when drafting communications, making posters, tracking data. You’ve used Microsoft Outlook to book appointments and manage multiple inboxes.
You have a valid First Aid with CPR certificate, and have experience responding to medical emergency situations quickly and calmly.
You have excellent attention to detail and strong customer services skills.
You approach the needs of our residents, their families and the professionals engaged in their care with respect and understanding.
