They continually ensure a gold standard candidate experience is delivered, whilst taking full responsibility for recruitment delivery across a vacancy portfolio. The Talent team are responsible for driving vet and vet nurse staffing, to ensure our practices and hospitals can offer animals and their owners the best possible care.
This is a home-based position, offering full working from home set up, with travel required for meetings, exhibitions and networking events.

Continued investment in the talent team puts us on track to have over 30 professionals in various roles across our First Opinion, Referral, Graduate and Support functions by the end of 2022. The team work closely together to ensure we remain ahead of the curve of Veterinary recruitment. The Veterinary market is continually evolving, and we need a Talent Partner to think on their feet and be proactive with their candidate searching and attraction strategy.

We’re looking for a strong communicator with a successful track record in recruitment from either an agency or in-house background. You will bring effective candidate management, negotiation and influencing skills along with the ability to prioritise with ease and provide excellent stakeholder service. Accountability and taking ownership are key for success in this role and we expect a consistent display of professionalism and performance to reflect business needs.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities in the role will include but not be limited to:
· Managing a portfolio of vacancies, prioritising workload via sound commercial rationale and an appreciation of business needs
· Working in partnership with the practices and support team to create first-class advertising in line with Employer Brand, that also harnesses a local feel
· Proactively utilise all available social media platforms for headhunting/proactive search in tandem with advertising
· Screening/short-listing/interviewing all prospective applicants
· Ensuring all candidate engagement is approached with urgency and consistent demonstration of the IVC Evidensia Employer Brand
· Driving stakeholder involvement and input into recruitment strategies
· Achieving targets in relation to time to hire, quality of hire, and cost of hire. Ensuring targets for staffing are improved
· Actively participate in all team meetings, show awareness of and input into each Talent Partner’s challenges
· Attendance at veterinary conferences and exhibitions and other appropriate veterinary events
· Be a positive advocate for change and supporter of colleagues’ successes
