You will be joining the Corporate Finance Origination and Advisory Technology team as a software engineer. We are building an interactive analytical platform, defining, and tracking key business metrics, helping front office in day-to-day business decisions. We are responsible for all steps of bringing high-quality data to end users: ETL processes, data analysis and preparation, development of interactive presentation layer.

You will work in close collaboration with sales, research and operations teams based in United Kingdom, United States and Russia, with main development centre based in Russia. User base – 1000 users per day and continue to grow. We seek an enthusiastic engineer with strong design and coding skills and solid understanding of web development. You will be a team player, motivated and self-driven with passion for software engineering and the ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with team in assisting and supporting with evolving user stories into a practical solution that addresses customers’ needs
• Implementation of a high-end user experience and its continuous improvement
• Data preparation: from requirements gathering to query optimisation
• Design and implementation of REST API deployed in the private cloud

Your skills and experience

• Experience in software development roles
• Proficiency with Java or .NET server stacks, Spring framework and web services
• Experience with rational databases, high proficient with Structured Query Language
• Knowledge of modern frontend development principles, Typescript/JavaScript, React and Redux
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies
