We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Finance team for an Assistant Accountant. The role supports the Management Accountant who carries out a range of accounting duties across the Australian and international businesses including:

• Reporting, forecasting and analysis
• Budget preparation and consolidation
• Accounting and budgeting for Software-as-a-Service projects
• Capital expenditure, including administration of internal orders
• Posting GL Journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Insurance claims and renewals
• Ad-hoc Projects

Requirements – The successful applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting
• Completing or desire to complete CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
• 1+ year related practical experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to a large ERP accounting system (ideally SAP) would be highly regarded
• Strong customer focus and team orientation
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Good attention to detail
