Aura Tek Consultancy (Located in Evergreen area of San Jose) is currently looking to hire qualified English tutors to teach all levels of English including SAT English.

Requirements:

• Currently hold or in process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Language/Arts.
• Able to develop positive rapport with students
• Passion for education and willing to learn.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Week day Evening and weekend availability required.
• Must have reliable transportation

Tutor Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students needs and goals.
• Assess students’ progress throughout tutoring sessions.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about trouble areas or any other issue that requires attention.
• Review recent homework assignment and test scores, and work through problems or questions that the student did not answer correctly.
• Organize tutoring environment to promote productivity and learning.
• Teach students study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.
• If needed, connect with students via email or text.
