The Recruitment Advisor implement resourcing process, including selection tools, methods, and practices to attract and select the most appropriate candidates for UK experience hire vacancies. The role involves candidate/market facing activity and back office administrative support. The Advisor liaises with all recruitment stakeholders including hiring manager, candidates, HR Advisors, HR Shared Services, and recruitment suppliers (agencies, advertising agencies, job boards, etc).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES
Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers, (HRBPs, and where agreed Line Managers) to gain a full understanding of business requirements to deliver against quantitative and qualitative requirements.
Implement the resourcing strategy for the Business, planning and working with HR Advisors and Customers as required.
Ensure process steps preparatory to recruitment are routinely completed to acceptable quality to enable recruitment activity including offer to progress unhindered (including taking account of cross border co-ordination and any immigration related matters).
Responsible for delivery of recruitment kpi’s within the Business, in particular cost per hire, time to hire and quality of hire. Ensure compliance with policy in respect of recruitment decisions and promote equality of opportunity.
Agree candidate requirements with HRA/line manager and publish internal and external vacancy adverts, checking to ensure well written and accurate adverts are produced to maintain consistency with format and brand.
Exercise judgement to short-list candidates to ensure only candidates who meet the specification are invited to interview, ensuring that people have access to appropriate development. Correctly assess individuals’ strengths and weaknesses, and project how they may respond to various situations.
Assist in the improved efficiency of the recruitment process creating and maintaining talent pools within the ATS and searching for suitable external candidates via external CV databases.
Advise on the recruitment and selection processes. Deliver basic interview skills guidance and advice where required to HR and line managers to improve the effectiveness of the interview process.
Ensure the ATS is used properly and accurately to their best effect. Provide timely and accurate management information as required. Undertake analysis of recruitment campaigns including customer feedback, cost per hire, time to hire, quality of hire and source of applications in order to contribute to planning of subsequent campaigns
Coordinate with HR Manager, Shared Services and Procurement to manage national preferred supplier lists, securing best value for SSUK?

The Recruitment Advisor role is part of the HR Shared Service Team, providing recruitment for all SSUK business units. It will at times also help with recruitment throughout the wider Liberty Steel UK businesses. The role is to ensure the effective delivery of recruitment in a timely, cost-efficient way.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year recruitment/resourcing experience.
Full understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process
Ability to manage a recruitment system

Ability to build and maintain relationships with agencies and suppliers
Ability to build relationships with hr/hiring managers and identify key requirements
Keen to progress and develop within the role
Be commercially aware of the market
