Applications are invited from experienced, highly motivated and creative Digital Education Developers to join our Technology Enhanced Learning Team, within the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development (CEED) at the University of St Andrews. St Andrews is the top ranked University in the United Kingdom as stated in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022.
The University is fully committed to exploiting and developing pedagogies and technologies to improve student and staff experience, and Digital is one of its five strategic pillars. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key contributor to the development of new online courses within our taught postgraduate portfolio.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Education Designer to join an inter-disciplinary team working with Learning Technologists, Technical Specialists, Digital Assessment Developers, Digital Media Developers and academics. You will be responsible for designing and developing programmes, modules and short courses working with academic partners, and with the wider team.
We are making substantial investment in people who are forward thinking, able to inspire and drive a high-performance culture and work effectively with minimal supervision.
You will be encouraged to expand and improve on your knowledge and skills and will be given the opportunity for further professional development.
In addition to the excellent working environment, we have a great range of benefits including: –
· Annual leave of 34 days, plus 5 public holidays · Membership of the USS Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions

Applications are particularly welcome from people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented in professional posts at the University.
Equality, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of the St Andrews experience. We strive to create a fair and inclusive culture demonstrated through our commitment to diversity awards (Athena Swan, Carer Positive, LGBT Charter, Race Charters and Stonewall). We celebrate diversity by promoting profiles of BAME, LGBTIQ+ staff and supporting networks including the Staff BAME Network; Staff with Disabilities Network; Staff LGBTIQ+ Network; and the Staff Parents & Carers Network.
