What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee orientation and training of all new caregivers to ensure a smooth transition to an Angel caregiver
• Oversee ongoing training of all caregiving staff
• Develop new caregiver training programs to ensure high level of caregiver job performance and satisfaction
• Face to face interviews with caregiver applicants and final selection of all hires
• Ensure that all caregiver documentation and job requirements are up to date and correct.
• Recognize and reward good job performance and promote caregiver recognition.
• Develop and implement caregiver appreciation and recognition programs
• Build on our successful mentoring, pay for performance and training programs.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of our company as a member of our senior leadership team.

What does Visiting Angels of Rockford: expect from you?

• 1+ years of recruiting/training experience (experience in health care or home care preferred
• Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
• Detail focused, excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work multiple software applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and industry specific web-based programs.
