Reporting to the Finance Manager (Corporate) – Financial Operations, this position is responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting and analysis for the Corporate Services division and management expenses.You’ll be responsible for allocation and recharging of corporate costs and bank account maintenance and governance for the Group, including communities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Leverage data-driven dashboards to conduct variance analysis and identify areas of focus
• Performance of month-end procedures for the Corporate Services division and Corporate holding company, including month-end journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Key point of contact for corporate invoice coding and preparation of corporate invoice prompt payment requests
• Periodic processing of corporate recharges and allocations
• Develop, prepare and present timely and relevant reporting of management expenses and overhead costs to the Group Corporate Services Finance team
• Maintain master list of bank accounts for the Group and ensure details remain up to date
• Manage the process for opening, closing and modifying bank accounts
• Assist with driving process improvement initiatives within Finance
• Partner with members of the Corporate Services finance team to provide periodic financial reporting and forecasting

To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following attributes:

• Tertiary accounting qualifications (accounting / finance)
• Completed CPA/ CA program or working towards
• 4+ years in finance roles
• Superior communication skills, able to adapt messaging for appropriate audiences
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently across large volumes of data and data sets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Working knowledge of Power BI reporting (desirable)
• High level integrity and professionalism
• Strong results orientation
• Independence – able to work with minimum supervision
• Teamwork – both internally and cross divisional
• Attention to detail with high personal standards
