Who we are looking for
A Recruitment Assistant that will be passionate about acquiring talent and will support our recruitment activities, ensuring our candidates have an exceptional experience with us.
You will be an enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive Recruitment Assistant, looking to join a friendly team at our offices in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to build a career within the recruitment industry. You will play a fundamental role in ensuring the recruitment process runs smoothly and efficiently whilst liaising with hiring managers and our various other departments such as HR and Training.
We have a comprehensive training plan to help support and develop you from your very first day. There will be progression opportunities and you will be fully supported by the Recruitment Coordinators and Managers to help to develop you to ensure you succeed in your career.

Preferred skills and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for recruitment.
Ability to work within a fast-paced office environment.
Self-motivation.
Energetic and enthusiastic.
Knowledge and understanding of job boards and social media platform functions preferred but not essential.
Main Responsibilities
Providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Scheduling interviews, answer phone calls and monitor recruitment mailboxes.
Completing initial candidate screening.
Liaising with our HR department and following company processes.
Supporting the Recruitment Coordinators and Manager with adhoc tasks.
Attending Career events and recruitment fair days.
Assisting candidates with the onboarding process.
Updating and maintaining an accurate candidate record within our internal system.
