For over 100 years this peak national group has positively represented their membership base of 30,000+ health professional. They provide education and development opportunities to their members, whilst being an influential voice of advocacy to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and their member’s services to the public.
They operate several active websites and microsites that are the lifeline to their members around Australia. Members can access events, training information, compulsory education tools and other core services, events and information essential to the their profession and the service they provide.
Working closely with the IT Manager and alongside an BA and another Developer (more back-end focused), no two days will be the same as you:
  • Develop the front and back end for projects
  • Modify, enhance and extend the functionality of websites
  • Work with marketing teams to create event or campaign microsites
  • Partner with editors and creatives to test and deliver results
  • Ensure site designs work across all mediums and are well structured
  • Write maintainable and well-structured code
The two main sites operate on Drupal so exposure to is preferred, with the others on WordPress. Your balance of front and back end experience will be well received (front-end biased). Skills with browser-based software and server requester tools are important, though more important will be your clear and inclusive communication style.
Remuneration shall be circa $90k plus super. Balance home (2dpw) and office (3dpw). A four day work week will also be considered though full time preferred.
