SD Associates P.C. is seeking a talented assurance supervisor/manager to join our team in Elkins Park, PA. Our growing full-service CPA and business advisory firm works with professional and personal clients in various industries throughout the Tri-State area with with 8-15 plus years overall public auditing experience. Remote working is available.
We are looking for individuals who see themselves as an experienced member of the audit team and a trusted business advisor, career minded and willing to learn, work hard, develop and grow. Individuals should be self motivated, detail oriented, have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as having the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license and working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
Responsibilities will include: Supervise, review and develop team members of multiple client engagements in a wide variety of industries, perform audits, reviews and compilation. Communicate with clients on related audit matters, develop audit plans and coordinate with staff and manage firm risk on audits and proposals. Review reports, workpapers and management letters. Nonprofit experience preferred but not required. Ability to manage engagements, leadership, training and mentoring skills as well as written and verbal skills. Adhere to a high degree of professional standards and client confidentiality.
