Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering
Employee engagement (e.g., execution, action planning and follow-up on Employee Opinion Survey results, Future of Work and employee experience lifecycle projects)
Talent Management processes (e.g. Performance Review and Talent Review & Succession Planning)
Organisational Effectiveness (e.g. Org design, team dynamics)
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in the business, acting as an advisor to help drive leadership accountability and competence in creating and maintaining highly engaged and motivated employees.
Use project management and change management approaches alongside HR best practices to lead and collaborate on a variety of organisation wide programs and initiatives across the organisation.
Partner as necessary with global and UK based RX and RELX colleagues and Centre’s of Expertise, to solicit and share best practice, partner on organisational issues and solutions, to provide local market execution support, to ensure global people practice consistency.
HR Services Delivery
Provide a local point of contact to delivery of HR solutions, supporting the CoE’s as necessary on the localisation and execution of key People deliverables:
Reward: Partner with CoE to facilitate salary and bonus review processes; may lead on job architecture profiling / grading exercises for review and sign off by Reward/HR Director’s, drive adoption of robust, consistent and appropriate Job Descriptions.
Advocate for the team member lifecycle through support of execution of pre-boarding activities for employees, retention activities, off-boarding activities, local Health and Wellbeing initiatives and activities.
Employee Relations: provide initial diagnosis for potential issues, escalating to the ER team once an issue has been identified.
Talent Acquisition: support business managers with internal team movement/placement processes by providing insights on team member capabilities and career paths;
Support and/or lead on key reporting, admin, analysis, process improvements, as determined by HR Director.
Talent Development: Identify and collaborate with TD on creation/implementation of learning or development interventions as necessary.
DE&I: create a highly inclusive, diverse and equitable employee experience.
Ideal candidate profile:
Strong HR generalist background, specialising in Organisational Effectiveness or Employee Engagements would be advantageous.
CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
Experience of working in a highly matrixed global Ulrich model organisation.
Experience of working in an organisation that is globalising practices through acquisition and as part of larger parent company integrations.
Familiarity with change management techniques, tools and methodologies to inform effective delivery and adoption.
Strong team player; highly collaborative whilst still having high levels of accountability.
Business acumen – able to build and develop broad, yet detailed, understanding in relation to functional client groups, and overall organisation.
Able to utilise coaching and consulting skills through all levels of the business.
Written/verbal communications, able to communicate with all levels of business and also facilitate groups/teams.
Strong analytics skills, use of metrics and analytics and a bias for data-driven HR.
Strong project management capabilities and ability to drive and execute on complex change initiatives.
