Talent Acquisition Officer

The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for the full recruitment process and assisting in implementing a Talent Strategy for the Company. You are to set talent measurements to meet the demands of each Department. You will work closely with the department heads and key personnel to foresee needs and provide the talent strategies and workforce planning to attract top talent in a cost effective and timely way. Equally, you will build relationships with all external stakeholders who influence our recruitment needs.

The Talent Acquisition Officer runs the recruitment process, hires new employees as required to deliver business objectives and introduces process improvements. You will accomplish the defined recruitment cycle timelines, deliver a consistent quality of job applicants, and will work within the recruitment budget.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead on direct searches for all hires, ensuring we maintain high level of talent.
• Achieve and maintain a high level of diversity by developing, implementing, and enforcing hiring and talent diversity practices.
• Conduct job interviews and own all administrative tasks relating to the recruitment of new starters.
• Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies.
• Work closely with the department heads and key personnel to foresee workforce needs, designing strategies to align workforce planning with operational requirements.
• Design a selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channels and recruitment sources.
• Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process.
• Ensure all hiring managers and interviewers deliver an effective and engaging recruitment experience and provide talent acquisition training to hiring managers to deliver interviews which are effectively aligned to our employer brand and values.
• Participate in our employer brand development and ensure we are amplifying our brand across our recruitment channels.
• Monitor the labour legislation and implement required changes to keep the process compliant.
• Be a key driver in the implementation of a Company talent strategy to ensure we continuously maintain a high level of talent that supports our strategic operational requirements.
• Work closely with the wider People team to focus on driving and influencing the People Team Strategy.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
