Greencore Hiring for Head of Talent Acquisition Job at Manton, East Midlands, England Full Time

Reporting to our Chief People Officer, the Head of Talent Acquisition will form a key part of our HR senior leadership team. The role will develop, lead and deliver the talent acquisition strategy for all roles across the group. With responsibility for building the strength of Greencore Group’s employer brand, by leading the team to continuously improve the quality of hires and the capability within Greencore.

Key accountabilities include:

• Design and deploy a robust recruitment strategy for both our weekly and monthly paid recruitment
• Partner with senior stakeholders, hiring managers and HR, to understand and assess resourcing needs, identify capability requirements, design and implement appropriate recruitment interventions to attract and select great quality people
• Ensure that our attraction and selection strategy is aligned and supports our Inclusion & Diversity aspirations
• Focus on driving our Employer Value Proposition across all channels of communication ensuring that Greencore are positioned as an employer of choice
• Ensure the availability of an efficient, technology enabled processes for the management of applicants and processing of candidate information to close recruitment gaps with the best candidates in the shortest time
• Develop a framework of recruitment channels and networks, including 3rd party providers, which drive traffic to our careers website and create talent pools
• Ensure the in-house search and selection capability delivers value and is cost effective
• Personally and proactively manage the Senior Executive caseload
• Assess the effectiveness of the function using robust KPI data to continuously improve and provide data and insight back into the business
• Partner with Talent and Development teams to ensure succession and development plans are utilised within the Talent Acquisition processes to maximise internal promotions and talent development opportunities
• Provide leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that people are engaged, focused, achieving required results and delivering to their potential

What we’re looking for

• Prior experience leading a large in-house talent acquisition function, ideally with responsibility for both weekly and monthly paid recruitment
• Strong senior stakeholder management capability up to and including Exec / board level
• Prior experience of Exec level search and selection is advantageous but not essential
• A genuine passion for recruitment with a desire to innovate in this space
• Degree level or equivalent graduate calibre
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the resilience to work under pressure
• Manufacturing and / or Supply Chain experience is advantageous, but not essential
