Are you a recently graduated software engineer or have just a few years’ experience?
Metro is seeking an entry level software engineer to support and develop mission critical systems that track train locations, manage train fleet maintenance and provide information to passengers.

Responsibilities
- Configure, enhance and develop software on Linux platforms
- Gain experience across the many languages used on the systems, including Java, C++, JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js, CSS, HTML, SQL, XML, Perl, Bash, Python
- Liaise with system users, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders for the resolution of problems and deployment of systems
- Assist in the preparation of engineering and support documentation
- Participate in 24/7 support roster (on-call after hours), once sufficiently experienced
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
- Self-motivated and a demonstrated desire to learn and excel in software engineering and software support
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
