Minarc Group Hiring for In-House Bookkeeper Job at Santa Monica, CA Full Time

We are in search of an In-House Bookkeeper for our office. The successful candidate will ideally have direct experience within the construction industry, but is not required. The candidate must be an expert in QuickBooks management, as well as have the ability to work well with clients, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain job files, handle limited routine office duties, manage and project receivables accurately, monitor cash flow and maintain excellent vendor relations.

Job Description:

• Review contracts and financial documents to determine and establish appropriate accounting procedures
• Evaluate and enter financial transactions
• Obtain and manage written contracts for each subcontractor prior to beginning of each project
• Obtain and manage certificates of insurance for each subcontractor prior to beginning of each project
• Answer phones as needed, with the ability to communicate well with both clients and vendors
• Review client contracts and process invoices
• Ensure companies are on target or under budget

Requirements:

• Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business highly desired
• Minimum of 4 years of general accounting experience
• Previous construction accounting experience highly desired
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills
• Great organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
