Location: St Kilda Road, Melbourne

New opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Group Functions – Finance team, where you will be responsible for completing financial activities and monthly reporting a number of Group Functions within Toll Group.

You will deliver the monthly close, for your specific corporate functional areas, and provide business partnering support to key members of Toll’s executive leadership team, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and completion of actual, budgeting and forecasting reporting requirements for the supported functional areas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Timely and accurate completion of month end reporting requirements and variance analysis, including monthly Business Performance Reports, additional quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Preparation of key Group Functions balance sheet reconciliations.
• Co-ordination and timely resolution of reconciliation variances that arise across Group Functions.
• Timely and accurate completion of forecasts and budgets for specific corporate functional areas.
• Lead the accounting for the Australian Workers Compensation process and/or Global Talent Acquisition recharging.
• Provide support for the accounting for acquisition and divestment activities.

To ensure you success in this role, you will possess:

• 3-5 years in a similar accounting role.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and principles, and consolidation processes.
• Completion of well presented and supported Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Financial data management, reporting and analysis skills
• Experience with general ledger accounting processes and information systems.
• Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks and drive actions across teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• CA/CPA Qualified
• Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business with finance/accounting focus
