Our DLG Tech team continue to push the boundaries and explore innovative ways to make insurance hassle free for our customers. We’re now at an important stage in our evolution to become a technology and data company of the future and we’re looking to develop future talent within our own Tech teams.
That’s why, after several years of transforming our business, we are launching our new Software Engineering Apprenticeship for 2022!
We’re looking for people who want to make a difference, take ownership, and play an active role. Whether you’re a first jobber, wanting a career change or you’re returning to work, our new Software Engineering Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn, pick up qualifications, develop new skills and build a great foundation for the future.
The apprenticeship will also feed into your curiosity for analysing and problem solving, learning new skills in coding, being innovative through the exploration of modern technology, as well as masses of opportunities to generate new ideas and stay up to date with new technology and market changes.

The Technology Engineering Chapter works across all the business and customer facing Tribes. Don’t worry if it sounds confusing, we’ll explain it all! As a member of the cross-functional squad you’ll be actively contributing towards team goals and key results for our business, delivering platforms with the customer at the heart of its focus.
Also, as part of the Engineering Chapter, you will be working closely with Engineering Chapter Leads and other Software Engineers on adopting industry best practice in Agile software.
You’ll start your apprenticeship with a 12-week bootcamp with our training partner, Multiverse. You’ll then continue your learning on and off-the-job whilst getting exposure to a variety of projects to apply what you have learnt.
