Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have a blend of accounting and finance experience, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to drive results through working collaboratively with our team and the business we support
• Contribute to the annual strategic plan process.
• Accounting, External Reporting and Regulatory Requirements
• Business Support/Ad Hoc Request
• Support various risk management activities (internal audit, risk, compliance, etc.), continuous improvement and technology initiatives, acquisitions and expansions, executive management presentations, etc
• Reviews and interprets financial reports to inform business decisions
• Assist with the annual budget process and monthly forecast updates for assigned business sub-segments
• Structures and manages the preparation of reports and analysis in response to requests and requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors
• Communicates directly with external constituents
• May also contribute to risk review and challenge for the business and for select areas of the organization
• Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes

Knowledge/Skills:

• 5+ years of experience of Finance/Accounting functions requiring business/financial analysis and presentation of results and recommendations to Senior Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and present results to senior management in a professional, clear and concise manner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must have ‘Can Do’ attitude with strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
• Self-directed with demonstrated ability to effectively work in a group environment and independently
• Energetic candidate with excellent business acumen
• Advanced Excel skills, able to use Excel functions appropriately to summarize data from multiple sources
