A rare and exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen for an Early Careers Talent acquisition Coordinator to join the Thales team from June until the end of the year. This role is extremely important and will support a number of crucial activities that will ensure the attraction and smooth on boarding of our early careers talent who are very important to the business! Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Early Careers Talent Acquisition Coordinator will sit in the early careers team reporting directly to the Head of Early Careers Talent Acquisition. They support the Talent Centre of Excellence in the processes and tools to enable them to ensure Thales UK has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute its strategy. The key focus is to ensure resourcing processes are followed, the coordination of early career fairs, early careers induction week and other resourcing projects and reporting are delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Early Careers Talent Acquisition function in ensuring adherence to the team processes
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including Hiring Managers, candidates, and HR to ensure that high client satisfaction is achieved during employee on boarding
  • Ensure that all policies, processes and user guides are controlled, current, and readily available to relevant employees
  • Maintain user support documentation
  • Schedule and coordinate key dates in the early careers calendar including careers fairs, graduate and apprentice induction and on boarding
  • Process candidate offers, right to work checks and track on boarding
  • Supporting the wider team with preparing for next year’s EC Assessment Centre campaign
  • Scheduling and arranging team meetings and organising team travel requirements
  • Co-ordinate sending Early Careers Talent Acquisition related communications to the business
  • Support the on-boarding of new members of the Team, to include ordering equipment, setting up system accounts and booking introductory sessions for the
  • Raise and manage purchase orders for career fairs, advertising spend, team meetings and other resourcing team purchases
  • Participate in Talent projects, which will include Candidate Attraction, Diversity& Inclusion, and Candidate Experience
  • Support an early careers continuous improvement project
  • HR Shared Services
Experience we look our for:
  • Proven team co-ordination skills within a large, complex corporate environment
  • Able to positively influence at all levels of an organisation, and to develop valued relationships with Managers and Candidates alike
  • Career fairs scheduling and early careers or high volume campaign coordination experience is preferable
  • Models desired behaviours in a corporate environment in terms of standards and best practice.
