TN Recruits Hiring for Assistant Credit Controller Job at Royal Tunbridge Wells, England Full Time

A leading organisation are looking for an Assistant Credit Controller to join their busy team.

The role will offer a full range of credit control procedures. Proactively supporting the team whilst ensuring compliance with client protocols. Assisting with effective administration and closure of files.

Responsibilities

• Take operational guidance from the Credit Control Supervisor
• To chase outstanding debtor balances by telephone, email and letter. (Size of ledger: maximum 4,000 accounts).
• To issue statements, chasing letters and administrate other month end processes as directed by the Credit Control Supervisor
• Take card payments by phone
• Recording and allocating payments for sales ledger
• To post or email copy invoices as required
• To inform departments of issues with debts and liaise with colleagues across the organisation to ensure issues are resolved promptly
• To maintain and control Debtor accounts, including statement addresses, their trading status and maintaining records on the computerised debtors system.

Requirements

• The applicant must be able to work under pressure and meet annual and monthly targets.
• Previous experience is desirable although training will be given to candidate
• Strong communication skills and a good telephone manner.
• Computer literate with a proficiency in Excel and Word.

Salary: circa £23,000 plus benefits!
Hours: 09:00-5:30pm
Location: Tunbridge Wells with Hybrid Working – 2 days in the office.
