They pride themselves on offering a great place to work and supporting and developing their staff. Due to a maternity leave they are now seeking a Full time Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Your new role

You’ll work closely with the CFO and Accountant and will have a varied supporting role. Duties include:

• Quarterly IAS and BAS statements including WET compliance
• General ledger reconciliations, including; inventory and sales
• Stock analysis and reporting
• Fixed asset schedule management
• Assistance with financial and management reporting
• Other miscellaneous finance duties as required

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll be an experienced Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant with:

• Practical experience in the above duties
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• A tertiary qualification in accounting will be highly regarded
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• A proactive approach to work
• Excellent problem solving abilities
