TITLE: IT Project Manager – Office Moves and Buildouts Location: Chicago, IL / San Francisco, CA / Miami, FL Our client is currently seeking an energetic, highly resourceful and positive Technical Project Manager who will work with our internal teams and MSPs to deliver critical projects and mature our operational processes. Specifically, this role will prioritize the project management of several office buildouts and moves, with smaller implementation project responsibilities as well. This position will report into the Chicago based VP IT Governance & Program Management and will be substantially remote. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the IT workstreams related to office buildouts including equipment procurement, telecommunication sourcing and delivery, technology buildout prior to occupancy, and user equipment move events.
• Work with multiple teams to analyze, understand, develop, document, and action detailed plans for implementing new software and improve operational efficiency
• Communicate weekly updates to leadership on status of planning and project activities.
• Manage the process and resources assigned to tasks required to complete the project and change activities.
• Ensure all change management processes are followed and documented as required.
• The candidate must be comfortable managing 3rd party vendor delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, and remove barriers to project success

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or equivalent degree/experience, Master’s degree or thinking level
• Excellent project management skills; 10 years relevant experience in complex projects
• Demonstrated ability to design, document, and implement complex projects
• Strong attention to detail and identifying when detail is missing
• Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to create clear & concise documentation
• Able to collaborate with diverse teams and staff of all levels
• Highly evolved problem-solving methodology
• Ability to work independently and quickly respond to new requests while being able to drive projects to completion
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, small IT department in the financial services industry is a plus

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with office technology buildout projects across multiple geographic locations, supporting network, compute, and audio-visual needs
• Proficient with the MS Office suite (Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience with implementation of SaaS or packaged software systems
• Experience with ITIL framework
• Experience in hybrid data center environments, MSPs and outsourced SOCs
• Knowledge and preferably certification in either PRINCE2 or PMP
