The opportunity
We are growing our Talent Acquisition team and are seeking to recruit a Junior Talent Acquisition Partner to join us and support talent operations by helping to ensure an exceptional, consistent and efficient candidate journey. With Talent & Culture as one of QBE’s 4 strategic pillars, this is your chance to be part of something special – a recently created team seeking to implement best in class recruitment and selection initiatives.
As a Junior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will report into one of our Talent Acquisition Business Partners and work alongside our Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers and other key stakeholders to provide talent acquisition support and advice. This will involve:
  • Completing administrative duties to support full recruitment cycle including creating employment documents, managing background checks and supporting the onboarding process
  • Sourcing and screening candidates, including scheduling interviews
  • Ensuring a personalised, positive experience for all candidates and stakeholders, whilst contributing to a strong employee value proposition
  • Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure we attract talented people from the breadth of the communities in which we operate
Your story so far
With exceptional administration and communication skills you will have a passion for delivering a personalised and quality service and have an enthusiastic approach to teamwork. Together with a self-motivated and conscientious approach, you will have:
  • An inquisitive nature and exceptional communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in the use of a Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), as well as an innate ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • An ability to establish a high degree of trust and credibility with stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills along with strong attention to detail
  • An ability to successfully deliver results
