Structural Engineer – Glasgow

Salary: £25-35,000 (based on experience)

The Company

My client is a multi-disciplinary engineering group whose workload is steadily growing. As a result, they are looking for a design engineer to join their Structural design team in Glasgow. The role involves design, detail and production of technical drawings in the housing, education, commercial and public sectors.

Structural Engineer Graduate +2. An exciting opportunity to join an industry leading consultancy working within a highly experienced Structures Engineering Team on a variety of projects. You will assist the structural engineering Team with design, working on city centre schemes to rural sprawling developments. Candidates must have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and have knowledge of: basic engineering principles, British Standards/Euro Codes, knowledge of 3D Structural Analysis programmes – ideally Tekla, a working knowledge of Revit, good strong communication both written and verbal and have the ability to work to deadlines and manage time. You will have support to achieve your chartered status, with mentors for both IStructE and ICE, have access to our bespoke training seminars enabling you to sign off core objectives as part of the Chartership process.
