Waste Connections Hiring for Customer Service Representative at Edmonton, AB Full Time

As a Customer Service Representative, you are the voice of Waste Connections of Canada upholding one of our key operating values. You will be serving as a main point of contact in the Edmonton, AB District and receive calls and emails from customers, suppliers, residents, and prospective clients. Your primary goal will be to try to achieve first call resolutions for existing customers, and arrange the follow up support and redirect for the ones you cannot. As part of our Sales team, you will also manage House accounts, provide data entry for Sales, and work with our Finance, Operations, and Maintenance departments to try to resolve customer issues.

In this role, you get to liaise with other teams like Sales, Accounting and Operations to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seeks cost-effective, safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

We are busy, but a fun place to work. There will be a high volume of calls and emails consistently, but with your speedy data entry, excellent call quality, and proficient Microsoft Office skills, you should be able to handle those with ease.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of Customer Service experience in a high call volume atmosphere

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Email and data-entry/typing

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Experience in sales and account management a plus
