Baylor University Hiring for Assistant Director for the Office of Parent Engagement at Waco, TX Full Time

The Baylor University Office of Parent Engagement is seeking an Assistant Director with strong communication skills, is social media savvy, and is gifted creatively to create engaging posts and ensure impactful content for electronic communications. This individual will deliver public presentations, plan and attend send off parties, partner with other Division of Advancement efforts to promote the Baylor brand, and build and maintain partnerships to communicate necessary information to parents.

A Bachelor’s degree, up to one year of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Three years relevant experience are preferred. Recent college graduates with a passion for Baylor University are encouraged to apply. Experience will not be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

Create, implement, and manage annual communications/marketing plan for parent engagement

Ensure fresh, cutting-edge marketing that maintains branding standards and increases parent engagement

Maintain consistent communication style with unique content across all formats-Parent Portal, website, and social media

Support advancement division initiatives by communicating goals and objectives using creative content

Initiate and maintain campus partnerships to communicate necessary information to parents

Assist director in managing Parents in Prayer and Send-Off programs

Develop new, creative programs to increase engagement and fundraising

Travel as required to develop and maintain programs

Assist parents where needed to help affect student success

Maintain and develop volunteer relationships

Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission

Ability to comply with university policies

Maintain regular and punctual attendance
