JAK’s Beer Wine & Spirits Hiring for Service Champion- JAK’s Dundarave at West Vancouver, BC Full Time

We are currently seeking a Service Champion to live our purpose of: Sharing our Passion for People and Spirits!

With 13 liquor store locations, JAK’S is a market leader in the BC’s retail beer, wine, and spirits industry and is focused on continued growth. The continued growth of the people within the JAK’s family will be fostered through the company’s paid professional development, which includes: WSET, Prud’homme, and other courses and conferences.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will have polished customer service skills and a passion for our products; specifically wine or craft beer, but also cider and spirits
• Enjoys helping others and building relationships with our guests
• Has retail customer service experience
• Has a desire to grow and learn
• Is able to lift 50lbs safely

This is a part-time position (2) days per week, with potential for more through the summer.

Weekend and evening availability is required

Some of what you will do in this job is:

• Assist customers with product selection, providing food pairing suggestions where appropriate
• Receive orders, unloading pallets and stocking the sales floor
• Educating guests about the product and what’s behind each bottle
• Maintain overall presentation of the store
• Process orders at the cash desk, ensuring that each guest has an excellent in-store experience
• Complete warehouse duties (stocking shelves, stacking pallets, reorganizing the warehouse area, etc.)
