Safran Hiring for Cleanline Technician Job at Australia Full Time

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Cleanline Technician with a flexible, mature, team minded attitude to work as part of our team carrying out cleaning activities on gas turbine engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APU) within a workshop environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Cleanline Technician is to carry out cleaning tasks of the gas turbine engines and APUs in accordance with relevant airworthiness regulations, manuals, procedures and other approved documentation.

Some key responsibilities of this role will be:

• Ensure that the following primary operating objectives are met:

o Turn-around-time (TAT) – All work-in-progress is completed within corporate targets,

o Non-Quality Cost (NQC) – Maintain the highest quality of product expected from an OEM, immediately highlighting any issue that would result in NQC.

o Labour Utilisation Rate (LUR) – Ensure the percentage of their productive time on task per day is at or above corporate targets (including hrs on job and parts),

o Efficiency – Ensure the percentage of time on the job is at or below the standard hours for the task at hand, highlighting any deviation to this to their respective Lead Mechanic

• Have a thorough understanding of all technical documentation; be able to interpret all documentation and instructions provided to them in written, diagram or technical drawings form.
• Always ensure that any measurement or inspection tool or any test equipment is in calibration before use by checking that a current calibration label is attached to it.
• Ensure the time tracking software is used consistently and accurately (SAP)
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and contribute rectification of deviations. Pilot Quick Response Quality Control meetings and follow the actions associated.

Experience and technical skills

• Recent experience working in a clean line or similar role
• Aerospace, Mechanical and/or Chemical trade experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience using SAP is desirable.
• Strong computer skills including all Microsoft office suite.
