Are you interested in helping to shape a vital new service which will support some of the most vulnerable young people in Hampshire? Do you have the skills to bring learning back to life, motivating and engaging learners in the next stages of their education?
Hampshire Achieves’ service, Future You is a unique and innovative hybrid provision, focused on providing a high-quality education and intervention package with a drive towards reintegrating young people back into mainstream education. We are looking for creative individuals with a passion for inspiring those with significant barriers to learning, including SEN, mental health and medical conditions. This service is being redeveloped to offer a much broader range of support and opportunities for these learners and is expanding rapidly as a result. You will be working with both individuals and small groups of learners in a variety of settings across the county.
Our senior tutors need to be passionate about connecting with learners and constructing a skill-based curriculum to enable learners to move forward on their pathway to reintegration. Our team need to be self-directed, as this is a role which will involve online delivery as well as face to face and staff need to be prepared to work autonomously due to this combination. As a senior tutor part of your role would be supporting the rest of the team and, despite the online nature of some of our work, helping to ensure that there is a clear sense of team and community within the service. We are looking for a range of subject experts and would particularly welcome applications from teachers of Maths or Science. We are a flexible team and this role can be tailored to offer a full or part time opportunity and the chance to work entirely in person, online or a mix of the two depending on what you’re looking for.
