The Role:

We are looking for a Diploma Trained or working towards Educator. You will be a strong team player who is adaptable and values being part of a team that will encourage your growth as an Educator. You will be confident and experienced with programming and running activities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Establishing, nurturing and fostering collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children
• Partaking in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning
• Engaging in shared, sustained interactions with children which build warm, trusting relationships
• Working collaboratively with the ECT and Room Leader to create and implement individual learning plans
• Complete curriculum planning and reflections

Skills & experience

• Minimum of Diploma in Children’s Services or working towards (ACECQA recongized)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current National Police Clearance Certificate
• Current Medical Clearance
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
• Current approved First Aid Certificate
• Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Sound understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
• Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality framework (NQF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Effective communication skills – with families, staff and children
• Effective programming skills
• Effective customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
