Structural Engineer – required for a leading London consultancy. The Structural Engineer will be technically strong and passionate Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience. The company that the Structural Engineer are a structural and civil engineering practice with a reputation for design and innovative and have over 140 employees

The Structural Engineer will workign within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and looking to take on responsibility.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

• Taking control of projects
• Ensuring quality of technical output
• Attending meetings
• Prepare design calculations and drawings
• Support senior engineers in carrying out the project design from commencement to completion
• Establish yourself as a key contact with other consultants and partners
• Carry out thorough site investigations, complete inspections, identify issues and solve
• Manage CAD Technicians and produce designs in a wide range of materials
• Work towards your chartership with the support of your mentor and colleagues regularly and systematically
• Liaise with client’s office and site staff to deal with technical queries
• Prepare hand calculations

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

• Masters in Structural Engineering
• 3+ years structural engineering experience
• Confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply
• Passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
• Strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
• Committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
• Committed to achieving chartership

Structural Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary DOE
• 23 days holiday + BH + Christmas and New Year shut down
• Hybrid working / 3 days at the office, 2 days from home
