Confiance Career Connection, LLC. is a national talent acquisition and recruiting firm actively seeking Scientist Educators (Microbiologist, Anatomy & Pharmacology (Pharm.D. preference) to be core members within the College of Medicine for a University located in Nashville, TN. The applicants should be able to demonstrate interest and ability to work collaboratively in course design as well as to teach interdisciplinary in a variety of courses within the department.

The faculty will be actively engaged in all facets of building a curriculum and providing academic support for students as needed to support a positive learning environment. The faculty will mentor students and assist with special interest projects as they relate to the discipline and focus of their area of specialty.

Required Qualifications:

·Develop pre-clinical, integrated clinical cases in collaboration with inter-professional and interdisciplinary pre-clinical faculty teams that meet the course and program level objectives.

·Participate on college and university committees in service to the academic community.

·Deliver timely and appropriate feedback and assessments to students in support of their continued progress.

·Provide mentoring and guidance for student scholarly activity in their discipline and area of focus.

Required Education:

·Terminal degree (PhD, MD, or Pharm.D.) in applicable field from an accredited university. MDs should be board certified in appropriate specialty area.

Required Experience:

· Applicant should have experience in the teaching and assessment of health professions students; experience in curriculum/case development for undergraduate medical students; experience in the teaching and assessment of undergraduate medical students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
