Parent & Parent LLP provides tax preparation and compliance services to clients around the globe. With a focus on offshore disclosures, including amendments of prior years’ returns, there is the opportunity for year-round work.

We understand the challenges of establishing a consistent client base. With Parent & Parent, we bring the clients to you. As an independent contractor, your compensation will be determined by the number of projects you choose to undertake.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of state and federal tax returns for businesses, U.S. persons, and expats
  • Peer review of tax returns prepared by other associates

Required experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience preparing all of the following: IRS Forms 8938, 5471 and 3520; and FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR)

Preferred additional experience:

  • Preparation of IRS Forms 8833 and 8865
  • Research and analysis of tax treaties
  • Drafting of non-willful narratives and reasonable cause statements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
