The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students.

We are seeking expressions of interest for a Content Developer to contribute to the development of Professional Accounting courses at Torrens University Australia, specifically course content relating to engaging with industry.
Successful applicants will provide support in the development and review of on campus and online course materials. The role will work closely with the Futures Team & academic staff to ensure that on campus and online course material is developed in line with the development schedule, and is reviewed to comply with relevant standards.
On a typical day in this role you will:
  • Develop & write the relevant course materials in conjunction with the writer’s brief provided
  • Ensure course material developed meets regulatory requirements and can be reutilised for different in-takes as well as for VET / HE delivery
  • Ensure material is developed and delivered within the timeframes of the content development schedule
  • Assure that material is reviewed in compliance with relevant AQF standards, within compliances set by appropriate professional bodies, and as appropriate to the course and subject scope
  • Write, review and edit assessment briefs, assessment tools, and assessment rubrics.
These opportunities will be for casual positions based remotely/WFH
Who are you?
To be successful in these Content Development positions you will be:
  • Experienced in subject development for CPA/CAANZ accredited Accounting programs at postgraduate and/or undergraduate levels
  • Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software particularly Finance/Accounting modules
  • Industry experienced in finance and accounting
  • Familiar with e-learning principles and AQF framework
  • Extensive experience in writing educational material and/or comprehensive industry experience
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Ability to perform well and deliver high quality work in a high pressure environment
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines
