Job BriefThe Client Account Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients. Account managers will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the client needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Client Strategy Advisor team to understand client’s business objectives and serves as first point of contact for financial, contractual, invoicing, and service desk questions
• Work with clients, and team, to provide the client’s perspective on their business and organizational challenges as it relates to their technical initiatives
• Work with client leadership on new business development, and work with internal teams to create/deliver proposals to existing clients
• Manage client relationships with a clear focus on creating a top-notch client experience and perform the role of a “trusted” advisor
• Perform daily and weekly opportunity queue management to ensure its compliance to company business development projection standards including, but not limited to opportunity status, close date, close percentage, revenue approximation, etc; Making appropriate adjustments as needed
• Work with internal team to create products and projects identified through projected IT roadmaps and Quarterly Business Review discussions
• Work with team members in the coordination of cross-functional teams and resources, on behalf of the client, as needed
• Stay current on client’s existing support agreement status. Work with CSA team to execute a plan to renew client agreements
• Attend client meetings and cadence calls with other internal team members as needed to support the client, and present .proposals along with Quarterly Business Reviews
• Follow up with clients after a less-than-desirable feedback or thermometer score
• Update DPS management on a regular basis on any potential risks, issues, opportunities, or management/structural changes in an account
• Knowledge, background and acumen of a client’s business and strategy is helpful while also being familiar with any regulatory, compliance, non-profit statuses, or security imperatives
• Attend training events related to key DPS services and partner/vendor offerings
• Needs a track record of managing and growing accounts
• Excellent written and oral skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients
• People-person with an innate ability to develop relationships at all levels of the client organization and maintain them on a longer term
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Proven account management or other relevant experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent listening, presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to support the five core principals of DP Solutions: Surprise & Delight; Teamwork; Own It; Our People Matter; Long Term View
• Understanding of processes within ConnectWise CRM tool
• Duties that may be required that are not clearly defined for overall success of DP Solutions, our clients and our work environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
