Centacare Hiring for Digital Engagement and Learning Designer Job at Adelaide Full Time

The Role

Directly reporting to the Executive Manager of Strategy, Research and Evaluation, the Digital Engagement and Learning Designer’s focus will be twofold in the first instance. First, working with our Registered Training Organisation, you will enhance our learning platform to support learners and educators with the blended delivery of the Mental Health Peer Work Certificate IV. Second, working with a team of professionals, you will assist with the development of an online trauma-focused therapeutic framework training package.

This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2023 (extension subject to funding).

What you need to bring

• Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent training and work-related experience.
• Knowledge of instructional design and its intersection with online learning environments.
• An understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories and instructional design approaches.
• A developed understanding of online technologies, authoring tools (Articulate), and editing and design software.
• Understand and can implement the principles of good visual/graphic design
• Project management experience with the ability to plan and manage time to ensure that key outcomes are achieved.
• Willingness to work alongside practitioners, educators, and people with lived experience.
• Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. (previously known as ‘Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance’)
• Due to the nature of our services, Centacare is required to comply with COVID19 government directions. You will be required to provide Centacare with your COVID19 vaccination certificate. • Ability to do some work outside of standard hours when required
