About the Job

The purpose of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead is to provide expertise and a proactive recruitment service to Genesis and the Technip Energies UK Operating Centers. Responsible leading a team and for implementing recruitment standards, policies and programs in line with the defined strategy and local regulations. The role will contribute to the wider business strategy by working collaboratively with management to forecast resource needs and ensure effective planning and execution of all recruitment activities.

Main Accountabilities:

• Lead a small team of Recruiters based in UK sites (London, Aberdeen, Milton Keynes)
• Responsible for UK, Norway and Kazakhstan , with support and coordination provided on global recruitment activities as required
• Implements recruitment policies and programs in accordance with defined strategy and local regulation
• Works with line managers to forecast personnel needs and workforce planning
• Takes responsibility for advertising of open positions, and selection for outside sourcing (LinkedIn, job portal, job boards, recruitment agencies etc.) tools
• Perform competency-based interviews and assessment centres where appropriate
• Extends offers in line with the company’s compensation policy
• Organizes and attends relevant HR fairs, promoting the business as employer of choice
• Manages relation and contracts with recruitment agencies, independent contractors, and other partners, and ensures compliance
• Onboard new employees and contractors to become fully integrated
• Evaluates costs incurred during the hiring process and ensures best value for money
• Stays abreast of recruitment trends and relevant legislative framework (Employment Equality Regulations, IR35, Brexit etc.)
• Promotes inclusion and diversity, and company’s reputation and ‘best place to work’
• Responsible for data integrity in HR systems
• Provide recruitment and related reports to the team for decision making
• Contributes to other HR projects as appropriate (Graduate programme, University Management, Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management)

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:

• Experience of leading a recruitment team
• Sound knowledge of recruitment lifecycle for both payroll and contract staffing
• Strong understanding of IR35
• Experience of working with digital recruitment systems (preferably Oracle)
• Experience of managing external supplier (mainly independent contractors) relationships
• Experience of direct sourcing tools (such as LinkedIn, talent pooling, Executive Search)
• People assessment skills (competency-based interview, personality tests, etc.)
• Strong communication, negotiation and consultative skills and will have the credibility and gravitas to easily win the trust of senior stakeholders
• Commercial awareness
• Good analytical skills (Experience or affinity with Power BI or related analytical tools is a plus)
• Continuous improvement mindset
