Calibre Search Looking for Civil Engineer at Birmingham, West Midlands Full Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a team of highly skilled Engineers in Birmingham city centre. You will be joining a multi award winning engineering and environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation for technical excellence and exceptional client satisfaction.

You will be working on multiple challenging projects simultaneously, and be undertaking preliminary designs of roads, levels, drainage, and external works in both the public and private realm. You will be delivering a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national. The transport and infrastructure design service are responsible for providing several engineering services across multiple sectors, from inception to commissioning. It is expected that you will take responsibility to development and learning, as well as support the development of other members of the team.

You should bring technical experience within the field of Civil Engineering design, covering several aspects of preliminary and detailed designs of highways, levels, drainage, and external works. The ability to use AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or extensive use of PDS) and MicroDrainage. You will understand the multi-disciplinary nature of the projects from planning stage through to completion, and a willingness to understand more about other discipline roles. You should be a good communicator, both written and oral and the ability to adapt these styles to suit different circumstances.
