We are a busy B2B Food Production company looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our growing team based in Mississauga, Ontario. In this position, the candidate is responsible for processing daily purchase orders and arranging transportation, while developing and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all customers and vendors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Processing Purchase Orders and Invoices, through e-mail and using Quickbooks accounting software
· Responding to customer inquiries through email and on the telephone.
· Coordinating communication between customers and vendors as required.
· Coordinating transport logistics and ensuring transport costs are on track as budgeted.
· Assisting with general office administration as required.
Work Experience:
· Sales & Customer Service: 1 Year
· Office and Administrative Experience: 1 Year
· Post Secondary Education Preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
· Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to work independently.
· Intermediate computer skills required. Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software is an asset.
· Ability to take initiative to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work cohesively with a team.
· Ability to exercise discretion and tact in sensitive situations, using good judgement when responding to issues or requests.
· French Language is an asset.
Salary: $40,000-45,000/ Year
