University of Oxford TSS Hiring for Human Resources Officer at Headington Full Time

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Officer for a medical science department based in Headington. Starting asap for approximately 12 weeks.

Duties will include:
Confirm authority to recruit and format job descriptions and submit staff requests.

Use the Core HR e-recruitment module to manage the recruitment process from setting up and advertising vacancies.

Liaise with recruiting managers regarding the membership of interview panels.

Monitor the closing dates for advertisements and forward shortlisting information to members of the interview panels.

Arrange interviews, book rooms, produce interview packs and interview panel paperwork and set up the equipment to conduct interview

Meet and greet candidates and copy right to work documentation.

Sit on interview panels when needed to provide advice and guidance to the recruiting panel.

Ensure references are obtained for all new employees, highlighting any concerns to the HR Officer and the recruiting panel.

Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment as necessary.
