ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a multi-faceted role that involves Client Liaison, Creative Design, and Spark Marketing.
In the Marketing Engagement Specialist role you will be liaising with clients and working alongside our Production, Copy, Design, and Development teams where you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the orderly flow and time management of your assigned projects from the start of the job initiation to its completion. The projects can range from new website builds, eCommerce, graphic design, email marketing, social media, and more. Upon receiving the project, you will process project requests, collect important information about a project, liaise with the client, manage schedules, assign tasks and track the project’s progress and cost control, making sure it’s completed on time and to specification.
- Assistance will also be required for our own company marketing initiatives. Here your creative input will be valued as you work with our Marketing team to develop and deploy outbound and inbound marketing campaigns.
- In the Designer role, you will be working within the design team headed by our Senior Designer. The work will be supporting both digital & print campaigns. We are seeking a designer with the ability to turn a brief into something awesome. The role requires the discipline to work within brand guidelines. A critical eye and attention to detail are a must.
- Excellent rapport-building skills plus a genuine desire to assist clients in the achievement of their goals is the key to success in this job. This role will fit someone who loves to suggest innovative and creative ideas by exploring various approaches to determine solutions to clients’ challenges. You will also gain experience using various marketing tools and functions.
- It is anticipated that the role will tilt more in favour of client liaison however the balance may shift depending on the company’s requirements at the time. To start with it is anticipated that it might be 50% client liaison, 30% design, and 20% Spark marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing workflow through the production team
- Liaising with in-house and freelance design and development staff
- Working with online production management software
- Active client engagement to create new opportunities
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders (digital marketing, finance, and design service departments) and ensure all opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team marketing sales environment
- Follow the prescribed methodologies, protocols, and priorities in relation to Spark Interact’s client engagement KPIs
- Manage competing priorities
- Prior experience in managing web application development using WordPress / Woocommerce is highly desirable
- Available to work at the Spark Surry Hills office from Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
