Controller

General Responsibilities:

The Controller is responsible for the leadership and management of our accounting department and that of a sister company in Yuma, AZ. Oversight and responsibility of AR, billing, AP, IT, inventory costing, general accounting operations and personnel. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and issuing timely financial statements and other reports required by our CFO, owners and internal customers. Responsible for preparation of fuel tax returns(no income taxes) and managing our annual CPA reviews.

Skills/Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, business or finance, working knowledge of GAAP and a minimum 5 years experience as a Controller are required. Being self-motivated, having strong attention to detail, a willingness to work in the weeds and team building skills are essential traits.

Some travel to Yuma and various business events.

Salary based on experience, skills and cultural fit.

Possibility to grow into CFO position.
